Myself, the breeder, holding one of our prize-winning dogs

  a tiny toypom

“Eberdene” Pomeranians was born out of our passion for the breed. “Eberdene” was registered with KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa) in 2002 and so our journey with our Pomeranians and the “show” scene started. We have had our share of wins but ultimately our hearts are for the wellbeing and improvement of the breed at large. It is always thrilling when we see a Pomeranian doing well and can see from the pedigree that there are “Eberdene” dogs behind them J.

Pomeranians are enchanting and needless to say addictive – Once you have been owned by a Pomeranian it is very difficult to settle for another breed or in some cases only one Pomeranian. They are giving and loving, with an extrovert temperament. They make for excellent companions due to their size and eagerness to please.

One of our show quality pomeranians

Our aim is to improve our breed, looking for correct conformation, soundness of structure and to hold onto the wonderful personality that Pomeranians should have.

The legal stuff

· The kennel name, “Eberdene”, is registered with KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa).

· Our puppies are inoculated, dewormed, and KUSA registered without exception. A microchip will be implanted in every puppy before it leaves us. The buyer will get a KUSA registration certificate with breeding restrictions unless otherwise indicated.

· We breed mainly for ourselves, so if you are fortunate enough to be selected to provide a home to one of our babies (puppy or adult), we will require a non-refundable deposit to secure your selected Pomeranian puppy or adult. If however we cannot fulfil the agreement, by providing the said puppy or adult, then the deposit will be refunded.

· Our babies do not leave before 8 weeks minimum and in some cases slightly older. The needs of our Pomeranians come first.

· Should you intend to show and or breed with our baby – please indicate so, as there is a price difference.

· Depending on geographical proximity, we do a “meet and greet” with the family. As important as it is for you, the prospective buyer to want to see the parents of your baby - we feel it is equally important for us to be able to see where our babies will be taking up new residency.
