History of the Silverglow Pomeranian Kennels
I have been building the Silverglow Pomeranian bloodline since 1980, and the
Silverglow Chow Chows bloodline since 1994.
I have owned/bred 30 champion poms, and bred/owned CC/BOB/RBOB/Group Placers and
also a "Best in Show" 1st and placings.
I have owned/bred 6 champion chow chows as well as CC winners and "Best in Show"
placings. In 2012 my husband of 43 year’s, after contracting a bad dose of flu,
passed away in a few weeks. I decided with great sadness to give up the chows..
I have been involved in dogs since I was 13 years old. I lived at that time in
Northern Rhodesia, (now Zambia).
I first did obedience work with my 2 cross breed German Shepherds. When I
married my husband in 1970, we bought 2 registered German Shepherds and I became
a member of KUSA in 1969. I bred and showed the dogs.
We moved to Botswana in 1974 with our daughter Arlene, where my youngest
daughter Tracey was born.
I had my own quarantine kennels. I started an obedience school training the
local people’s dogs, as there were no clubs or dog shows. I did this for 6 years
while we stayed in Botswana.

We then moved to Margate in 1980 to live on my father’s plot. While there I
decided that the girls were old enough to have a dog of their own. I was looking
for a toy poodle breeder, when I stumbled on a breeder of small dogs —.
there were loads of them — I found out they were called Pomeranians. I bought
the girls one each, and when the dogs were old enough to go into the show ring,
The girls took them into the ring.
Later on when collecting the girls they told me that the one pom, FAIRWINDS
DOMINIQUE OF SILVERGLOW had obtained several first’s and a cc! Well I thought
that beats running around the ring like a fool, and looking like a limp rag at
the end of the day, I decided to rather breed and show Pomeranians.

After several bad buys not knowing what to look for I decided to buy 2 poms, an
orange bitch NOWENDS MINDY OF SILVERLOW and a black/tan male NOWENDS BRIGHTSTAR
OF SILVERGLOW, from a lady leaving Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). The dogs
parents were out of some very impressive old UK HADLEIGH lines, The dogs
themselves were a little bigger than what was being shown in the ring, but still
lovely specimens.
I bred them together and CH. SILVERGLOW DONNA was born, a beautiful cream/sable,
She took the show scene by storm and was a Champion at 12 months, obtaining a 2
point cc at 6 months.
I had only been in the breed, and show ring for 2 years, I was thrilled to have
done so well.
NOWENDS BRIGHTSTAR OF SILVERGLOW gave me 2 more Champions
CH. SILVERGLOW ELFAAN GEM, and CH. SILVERGLOW MUSIC MAN, brother and sister
litter mates, were made up in 5 shows

I then bought CH. MONILENE CHINKY OF SILVERGLOW a lovely cream. He was a
Champion at 12 months, the first KUSA NATIONAL POMERANIAN, at the first KUSA
NATIONALS, winning 4th in the Group finals. He also won many All Breeds Best
Veteran in Shows.
In 1986 we moved to Kempton Park, in South Africa. CH. MONILENE CHINKY’S
daughter CH SILVERGLOW TINY SNOWDROP also won a 2 point cc. At 14 and half years
old, she won a cc, best of breed and went on to win BEST VETERAN IN SHOW. She
also won many other BEST VETERAN IN SHOWS at all breed shows before she died at
15 years.
I bred CH. MONILENE CHINKY OF SILVERGLOW to CH. SILVERGLOW DONNA. Unfortunately,
she was only 3 years at the time, when she died having a caesarean.
The resulting male SILVERGLOW YURI CHARM was a little too big to show, but was a
lovely specimen.
He was the father, of CH. SILVERGLOW IVAN THE GREAT OF BROWDEEN,
who was the father of CH. SILVERGLOW CASSIUS CARLO,
who was the father of CH. SILVERGLOW ADORABLE ALEXIS,
CH. SILVERGLOW PEGASUS PAUL OF DE CHATALET and
CH. SILVERGLOW KOBY CASSANOVA OF TRISHCA.
The latter was the father of CH. CAROLERA BLADE OF DE CHATLET.
SILVERGLOW YURI CHARM was the father of CH. SILVERGLOW GARNET OF SUNRAY
who was the father of CH. SILVERGLOW GRACEFUL LADY OF DE CHATALET
and the grandfather of CH. SILVERGLOW GISELLE GINA.
I did very well in the following years with a very limited amount of showing.

To improve my bloodlines I used a lovely red dog imported from Canada,
(CH. ZIM) (CH. USA SA & CAN) SHARIAN ROCKIN ROBIN OF TINYTOT on two of my best
bitches.
CH. SILVERGLOW ROSE PETAL a daughter of CH. MONILENE CHINKY OF SILVERGLOW,
She was also grandmother to CH. SILVERGLOW PEGAUS PAUL OF DE CHATALET.
SILVERGLOW YVONNE’S DREAM, a daughter of the imported Canadian dog, although not
a Champion herself she produced 5 Champion’s.
In 2005 I bought a stud out of SA. UK and USA bloodlines, ANJULA MARKUS AT
XANTAH. He produced CH. SILVERGLOW ZANDRA ZOE who in some very stiff
competition, from the puppy class, become a Champion at 18 months.
All her awards have been almost exclusively obtained by overseas judges.
I have some great great news CH. AUS. CH. FIN. SILVERGLOW TINY TIM OF EBERDENE
has been exported to Australia, while he was in Finland was made a Finland
Champion, in a few shows, thanks to the well known, Finland breeder Esa
Ruotsalainen, while in Finland he was mated to SILVERGLOW KARINA KATEY who
produced 4 pups of which all are Champions and the one bitch is now an
International Champion and Top Dog of Finland and other countries.
Esa imported a male puppy from me in 2010 who is out of ANJULA MARKUS AT XANTAH
and SILVERGLOW SHINNING SHEREE, DAUGHTER OF CH. SILVERGLOW GISELLE GINA.
I wish him all the best and look forward to the pup becoming a champion.
TIMMY is now in Australia and in a few months was made an Australian Champion
winning multi Best of Breed, multi Group’s and multi Group Placing.
I am looking forward to getting a puppy from CH FIN. CH. AUST. SILVERGLOW TINY
TIM OF EBERDENE and SILVERGLOW KARINA KATEY.
We started 2009 with CH. AUST. CH .FIN. SILVERGLOW TINY TIMMY OF EBERDENE’S son
CHAMPION EBERDENE BLADE OF GLORY OF SILVERGLOW, at nineteen months becoming a
champion, winning 5 cc, and 3 Reserve Best of Breed,and obtaining an excellent
at a FCI show, all by overseas judges,
He is a beautiful cream.
His half sister EBERDENE RHAPSODY IN BLUE OF SILVERGLOW has 3 R c.c. 1 cc and a
Best of Breed. she is a dark black.
CH. SILVERGLOW ZANDRA ZOE has a lovely dark red boy ,
CH. SILVERGLOW JUDE JAMEEL, who has 6 c.c, 1 Reserve Best of Breed, 1 Best Of
Breed, and 1 Best Puppy.

CH. SILVERGLOW ZANDRA ZOE was mated to a cream/parti from USA
SHOWIN’S TOUCH OF CLASS AT BROWDEEN.
She produced two girls, these puppies are parti faceted,
I also have two more parti faceted bitches from him that will be mated to my new
black/white parti from the USA,
DELPOMS BLACK AND WHITE TUXEDO OF SILVERLGOW.
The latter also has a parti litter from a parti girl owned by a friend, 4 black
parti boys and 1 black parti girl, lovely puppies.
His sister DELPOMS CHOCOLATE DANCING STAR OF SILVERGLOW, she is the only
chocolate parti to win 3 cc,best puppy awards and a best of breed. She was
imported with Tux at the same time. They have Finch lines the top breeder in the
USA she was mated to an import from the USA,
PARTI STORM IN A TEACUP AT BROWDEEN.
She has won in only two months of showing, in 2011, 3 cc 2 best puppy and a 3rd
best puppy in group.
Great news DELPOMS CHOCOLATE DANCING STAR OF SILVERGLOW has a beautiful litter
of two orange/parti girls and a blue parti boy, we are looking forward to
showing them later on in 2012. I have a beautiful black male imported, from the
PHILIPPINES CH. BIS. BISS. CANTON BLACK CHARMER OF SHEMAUR. He was mated to
SILVERGLOW TIPTOES MINNY sister of CH.FIN.CH.AUST. SILVERGLOW TINY TIMMY OF
EBERDENE. A lovely black/tan female was produced she was exported to the USA to
Lisa of Delpoms Kennels with a lovely cream male of Silverglow breeding. A
black/tan male SILVERGLOW EXQUISITE DAMAN is also the offspring of IMP. PHIL.
CH. BIS. BISS. CANTON BLACK CHARMER OF SHEMAUR and CH. SILVERGLOW ZANDRA ZOE who
in 212 won 2 cc, and 2 Best of Breeds - in 2013 winning a further 2 cc, best of
breed, toy group, and 3rd best in show, under international judges CH. EBERDENE
BLADE OF GLORY OF SILVERGLOW, son of CH. FIN. AND CH. AUST.SILVERGLOW TINY TIM
has produced a beautiful blue/tan boy SILVERGLOW POSH PORSCHE OF EBERDENE who at
his first open show obtained best of breed, 3 rd puppy group and 3rd toy group
at only 6 months, at champion shows he won 2 r.cc only being beaten by
SILVERGLOW EXQUISITE DAMAN

The best news ever WAS CHAMPION BUXTON DANCING MASTER OF SILVERGLOW in two shows
with international judges from Australia wins on both days a 2 x 2 point cc,
best of group and a 2nd best in show in the champion toy show So in 3 shows
Dancer is a champion. He is the son of CHAMPION SILVERGLOW JUDE JAMEEL who’s
grandmother is CHAMPION ZANDRA ZOE, in his pedigree all my top winners, CHAMPION
SILVERGLOW KOBY CASSANOVA OF TRISHCA, CH. SILVERGLOW GARNET, CHAMPION ADORABLE
ALEXIS, CHAMPION CASSIUS CARLO, CHAMPION IVAN THE GREAT OF BROWDEEN, CHAMPION
SILVERGLOW DONNA, CHAMPION ROSE PETAL, CHAMPION ELFAAN GEM.
On the 8th of April 2021 CHAMPION SILVERGLOW ANGEL’S LEGEND (Freddy) became a
champion. Wining 7 cc, 5 best of breeds,1 reserve best of breed, several best
baby puppy in show, and group wins, an excellent in the FCIi show with a reserve
c.a.c.i.b. He also won a SOUTH AFRICAN BEST IN SHOW. Unfortunately Freddy had an
accident. Heand slipped on the floor and damaged his back he is no longer with
us.
On the 6th June 2022 CHAMPION SIVERGLOW ROSE BLOSSOM became a Champion she is
CHAMPION SILVERGLOW ANGLES LEGENDS litter sister. She has won 5cc, 2 best junior
in breed, and best puppy in group
Our CHAMPION SILVERGLOW BELLA’S CRYSTAL winner of 5CC,1 reserve best of breed,1
best, puppy ,and best junior in breed, is now a CHAMPION. She has a daughter
SILVERGLOW CRYSTAL IVY who is in the show ring and has won a best baby puppy in
breed and a 2nd baby puppy in group
CHAMPION SILVERGLOW QUEEN’S DELIGHT daughter of CHAMPION SILVERGLOW ROSE BLOSSOM
has 7cc She has also won a best baby puppy in show
CHAMPION SILVERGLOW GOLDEN SUNDAY winning 4cc out of puppy class into junior at
just 12 months. Also became a CHAMPION at 18 months.
Currently i am showing SILVERGLOW ALEX ARCHER HE HAS 10CC, 7 BEST PUPPY, 5 BEST
OF BREEDS, 6 R.C.C, 1 BEST SOUTH AFRICAN BRED IN GROUP, 1 BEST SOUTH AFRICAN
BRED IN SHOW, BEST IN GROUP AND A BEST IN SHOW AT THE VICTORY TOY DOG CHAMPION
SHOW IN CAPE TOWN. HE IS ONLY 10 MONTHS SO HAS TO WAIT FOR HIS LAST CC AT 18
months
I am pleased to say that I completed my exams for the UTILITY AND TOY GROUPS and
passed, so I can judge at Champion shows.
