My late husband and I got our first Stafford as a pet in 1999. We were encouraged to start showing in 2000 and registered our kennel Stapphire, with KUSA in 2001. In 2000 we bought our foundation bitch and registered our first litter in 2002. We have been fortunate to have bred and owned 28 champions to date.

We are passionate about the breed and register and health test our dogs for L2HGA, HC and HD. We breed mainly red with an occasional brindle and pied litter. We have travelled the world going to dog shows and have imported the genetics from top overseas lines. We have made up American champions, as well as had a dog qualify for Crufts.

Although we show our dogs, they are first and foremost our beloved pets and we spend much time ensuring that our temperaments are true to the breed. I am an animal behaviourist as well as a Director for Stafford Rescue and devote a lot of my time to less fortunate Staffords. I am also a KUSA Specialist Stafford judge.
