Breeding with Labradors is such a privilege! It is amazing how much joy and love they can bring into your home. I just love to be able to pass all this on to other people, the positive feedback which keeps on coming back for many years, is amazing. New owners often become 3rd and 4th time owners over the years.

 

I live in Randfontein on a smallholding, my dogs run free and enjoy all the space every day. My sister Ria helps me.

We do PRA, EIC, SAVA Eye tests (must be unaffected). Hip and Elbow scans are done and must have very good results. We also do Copper Storage Disease tests (CSD) on all our Labradors.

 

They need to be 18 months old before they can have puppies.

 
Puppies are raised and socialized inside my house for the first 3 to 4 weeks and then they move out to a huge camp next to my house until they are ready to go to new homes..
 
For the past few years I have been using sires from Chezenko Kennels.  I am raising my own stud.

The kennel name, "Aboheme," is registered with KUSA. We register all our puppies with KUSA breeding restrictions, and give a certificate to the buyer. A microchip is implanted in the puppies before they leave our care. Delivery can be arranged for those too far away to collect their puppy. A video call in real time can be arranged to see the puppies.
