Owner, Adri Marais, and dam, Staffron Coco Frosted Rose 

Coco, our Staffordshire Terrier dam, is part of our family of eight: Mom Adri, Dad Francois, Fia who is 10, Kai who is 6, our rescue dog Waffles and two cats, Latté and Chilli.

While we always planned to breed with her, she is a pet first. Her puppies were born in our bedroom, with two kids sleeping on mattresses by her side. Her little bundles of energy are growing up in our home and hands, surrounded by children, other dogs and our cats. At three weeks, we have moved our baby Staffies outside during the day to ensure the correct 'substrate preference', meaning that they learn to like the texture of grass under their paws when urinating, which makes house training easier later on.

Coco is the perfect example of the "nanny dog" Staffordshire Terriers are known to be, affectionate and eager to please, a shadow that loyally follows her humans around. Dad, Rocco is also a pet first, then a sire. Loving and playful, he is the ideal combination of muscle and heart.

Our puppies are displaying a lovely mix of their smaller dam and burly sire and we believe that they'll grow to be loyal companions, compact but powerful, loving but ready to defend their humans with body and soul.

By the time they leave for their new homes, our Staffie puppies will be KUSA registered without breeding restrictions, a microchip will have been implanted and they will be inoculated and dewormed, ready to be part of a family of our own.

We will transfer ownership papers to new owner.
