We have been breeding Hungarian Vizslas since
2004. Our original lines were from dogs that had bloodlines from breeders that
imported from Germany and Hungary and have since been combined with local
breeding.
I used to enter field trials and dog shows, but I became paralyzed for a year and have not regained the required strength in my legs. I do take into consideration their hunting ability when I select a pup for breeding.
Our dogs are part of the family, and the pups live
inside until they can see and move independently. They are socialized with the
other dogs from the time they move outside to warm and secure fenced off
area. They have human contact on a daily basis and are accustomed to being
picked up and handled. They are KUSA registered, inoculated by a registered
vet, microchipped and dewormed.
Our focus in our breeding is on temperament, hunting instinct, conformation and
to maintain the size within the standard of the breed.
Being certified in Dog Behaviour and Dog Training, we are able to offer the
owners of our progeny advice for the duration of their dog’s life, and are
available to assist with re-homing if such a tragic need is ever required.

Vizslas are high energy, gentle-mannered, loyal,
caring and highly affectionate. They are wonderful family dogs and need a lot of
love and attention. The standard coat is a solid golden-rust colour in different
shades of copper/brown, russet gold and dark sandy gold.

Our vizslas are active dogs. Our first priority in breeding is temperament, followed by conformation and trainability. Puppies are KUSA registered, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. Our dogs are part of our family and each one loved dearly for his/her own unique qualities.

The legals
The name, "Montessa", is registered with KUSA. We register our puppies with KUSA and give the buyer a registration certificate. There are no breeding restrictions. A microchip is implanted in every puppy before it leaves.
