We are breeders of Staffordshire bull terriers (also called Staffords or staffies) in Johannesburg, South Africa. 

Pacho won a prize for

Best Baby Puppy in Specialty Show.

It was a show for Staffords only.

Shankly Kennels is a member of the Kennel Union of Southern Africa. We aim to breed the Old Time Staffords the way they're meant to be; fit athletic strong dogs with drive and a heart to match, but more importantly sound healthy dogs with a super friendly temperament all our dogs are socialised with other animals and children and are part of the family we will sometimes have litters available but not often as we aim to breed only to better or preserve what we have.

We are breeders of quality Piebald, Blue, White, Tan, Black, & Brindle Staffordshire Bull Terriers. All our dogs are KUSA Registered.  Some of our dogs are imported and others locally bred.
We only produce one litter a year per female so please let us know if you wish to be added to our waiting list for future litters as our pups are normally booked in advance. We sell to both private buyers and breeders alike however, we do NOT support puppy farms or similar and will refuse to sell if we are not satisfied the pup will receive correct care. Shipping of pups available if required.

All puppies leave at 8 weeks or older and will have had first innoculations and will have a micro-chip implanted. Breeding restrictions are placed on some of our puppies and they leave with a puppy contract.
 

The legals

Our Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies are ALL Micro-Chipped with Identipet and will be registered with KUSA, some puppies are sold with breeding restrictions.  The buyer will get a KUSA registration certificate.
