www.petsplace.co.za Dog BreedsToy Fox Terrier
The toy fox terrier (TFT) was developed in USA, through selective breeding of small smooth coat fox terriers. Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound were interbred with these small dogs to produce an even smaller dog. Eventually the Toy Fox Terrier was recognised as a breed, distinct from the bigger Smooth fox terrier breed.

The above dogs are both adults,
illustrating the versatile size difference between 22 and 29cm high. The taller,
bigger ones are good play mates for children, or a sport buddy, and are very
popular on farms. Lifespan: 13-15 years These small dogs are good watchdogs and can kill rats, snakes, etc. It reminds me of how young David stood up to the mighty Goliath. It's not our size that matters, it's our courage. 1 Samuel, chapter 17
